Practice  
Marcela Saitua has a civil litigation practice with an emphasis on insurance defence work and personal injury actions.  Marcela has been involved in cases dealing with bodily injury, property damage, coverage issues, general corporate commercial litigation, including directors’ and officers’ liability, and class actions.  Since joining Adair Morse in 2002, Marcela has appeared as counsel at the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.  
 
Professional Involvement  
Marcela is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Advocates’ Society.

Marcela has a strong interest in continuing legal education, having completed Osgoode Hall Law School’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop in 2004.  In October of 2004 Marcela also delivered a seminar before the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association.
 
 
Other Involvement  
While completing her legal studies, Marcela served as Co-Director of the Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples, a student satellite legal clinic of Kensington Bellwoods Community Legal Services.  Marcela also completed a University of Toronto Human Rights Internship at the Afro-Canadian Legal Clinic.

Marcela has an avid interest in running, hiking and traveling.  She has traveled extensively in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
