Alexa Sulzenko joined Adair Morse as an associate in April 2010. She is building a broad civil litigation practice with an emphasis on the areas of commercial litigation, tort litigation, personal injury, insurance litigation, medical malpractice and professional negligence.
After completing her articles as a clerk to the Justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Alexa practiced commercial and class proceedings litigation. During law school, Alexa worked at a litigation boutique and a disability law clinic, as well as on the Inquiry Into Pediatric Forensic Pathology in Ontario. |

Over the course of her education, Alexa has received several significant awards. At the University of Toronto, Alexa received the Leonard Feighman, Q.C. Prize in Evidence and was awarded a Student Law Society Public Interest Fellowship to work at ARCH Disability Law Centre. She was also a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Upon graduating from Queen’s University, Alexa was awarded both the Political Studies Medal and the Jaganathan Muraleenathan Book Prize in Philosophy for the highest grades in those disciplines.
Alexa has also been actively involved in debating, competing throughout Canada and abroad and coaching younger debaters, as well as in mooting. During her legal studies, Alexa won the Frank M. Callaghan Memorial Moot and went on to run the moot as Co-Chief Justice the following year. She also trains in krav maga. |
